About Us

Originally from Gloucestershire, Clive Houldey comes from a farming family, the business moving to Northamptonshire early in the 1960's.

There Clive followed in his father's footsteps, working on the farm
and rearing beef cattle and sheep.

After his marriage to Jayne and the birth of their twin boys, Harry and Luke, they moved to the Borders of Scotland in 1998, where young Ross was born three years later.

They both worked very hard to establish their farming business and despite having a young family 'at foot', Jayne became a very efficient farm Secretary!

Hiring their machinery to local farmers too, Clive and Jayne realized a need in the area for good advice and the supply of  good quality equipment and machinery.

So they became the local agents to represent Rolland and Rabaud, two carefully chosen companies, manufacturing some of the best agricultural machinery and equipment.

Losing their sheep to the welfare scheme during the FMD epidemic in 2001, Clive and Jayne decided to concentrate on their cattle and chose to establish their own 'Manor Park' herd with the impressive and gentle Simmental breed as their own speciality.

Always innovative, during 2003, Clive designed and arranged the manufacture of the 'Scotpen' mobile sheep handling equipment.

They are both delighted that the sales of this safe, strong, reliable and durable equipment are increasing every month.

Clive and Jayne attend agricultural Shows and Exhibitions throughout the UK every year, where they exhibit the equipment they provide and occasionally, their Simmental Cattle too.

Clive and Jayne hope you will find this web site interesting and helpful and they welcome all your enquires.
